I Used to Know That: Shakespeare: stuff you forgot from school

To tell you the truth I didn t know that about Shakespeare, but I do now This is my third book in the I Used to Know That series There was some interesting information in this book I now know than I did about the plays of Shakespeare There is a section on words and phrases coined or used for the first time by Shakespeare The thing about knock knock jokes was fun.

Despite a sprinkling of false information, this is a good overview of Shakespeare.

I m really not sure who this book was written for not deep enough to be of value except perhaps to answer Trivial Pursuit questions and folks who want something this light probably don t pick up books any Synopsis of the plays with a tongue in cheek viewpoint and some other information about Shakespeare the few factual details about his life , etc To the degree that brevity is considered beneficial, this is a quick read

Yes, sadly, I m losing it a little I wanted to review my Shakespeare, so I picked this up It was quite helpful, although it jumped around and didn t go too in depth I wish it would have elaborated a little and stayed consistent in what it was talkin about at the moment It was still helpful and served it s purpose.
